ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with Mindful Therapy Group, providing therapeutic services for children, adolescents and adults. I have spent the last 10 years working with individuals (adolescents and adults) experiencing homelessness suffering from trauma, addiction issues,  grief/loss and other struggles.  I am also a parent to three wonderful daughters, two of whom are on the autism spectrum.
This background informs the way I work with clients. Anyone can be struggling with a myriad of things and need a safe place to talk about them. Once the client feels they are in a safe, non-judgmental space then hope and change can begin. I use my deep curiosity to ask thoughtful questions that facilitate unique discoveries and insight that leads to change. I am passionate about accepting others non-judgmentally so they can have the hope and courage to freely explore their own histories uncovering clues that will aid them in their healing.
